Jane Keep uit Engeland geeft woensdagavond 1 februari een presentatie in Amsterdam. Het thema van de avond is: Taking care of You at work.
Deze avond is alleen toegankelijk voor vrouwen. 

Ben jij ook regelmatig moe na een dag werken? Ga jij ook makkelijk over je grenzen heen op je werk? Dan is deze avond iets voor jou.

Jane Keep aan het woord:

How truly self-caring are you at work? How self nourishing and self nurturing are you while you work?  Do you find you are tired or stressed after working? Or are you feeling vital and harmonious? 

How much do you use your physical body to support you to stay steady, consistent, balanced, harmonious and playful at work? How uncomfortable does it feel when you work but you are feeling tired, or pressurised? How often do you do something at work that doesn't feel right, but you just carry on and do it regardless of what you feel? Do you push yourself hard with high expectation?

How deliberate are you in the way you prepare yourself, your body, and the support you need for your daily work? Or for the work you do each week? What kinds of things do you do to support yourself so that you feel rested, and well prepared to undertake the work that is required of you? 

Do you know that it is truly possible to work, or study (whatever work/study you do) and stay harmonious, balanced, joy-full, play-full and well? And that we have hundreds of choices each day that allow us to work in a self caring way - so that at the end of our working day or week you feel great? Work doesn't have to be a hardship, a toil, and a detriment to your health and wellbeing, it can be fun and playful, and nourishing.

This evenings presentation will explore how developing a deeper felt sense of the physical body, and a deeper self awareness we can learn to build a foundation of steadiness while you work, whatever work (or study) you do. This will include taking self care to a deeper level and we will talk about many tips, and tools that you can use to support you while you work so that you feel great.

The work presented in this session is based on Jane’s 6 year Phd study ‘developing self care at work’. It is also based on Jane’s work with  for leaders, doctors, nurses, and other staff in the National Health Service, and her work in schools and many other organisations.  The session will be fun, participative, and, informative, philosophical and practical.
